About The Program

Through our Pets for Vets initiative, we proudly offer discounted adoption fees to all U.S. military veterans. Whether you’re looking for a calm companion, an active adventure buddy, or a source of unconditional love, we’ll help you find the perfect match for your lifestyle and emotional needs.

Adopting a pet can bring comfort, structure, and companionship to daily life — and for many veterans, that bond becomes a powerful source of healing and purpose.

Program Benefits

Discounted Adoption Fees: Reduced adoption fee of $75 for dogs and $45 for cats; for eligible veterans (standard fees range from $150 – $400 for dogs and $65-$100 for cats).
Priority Matching: Our team will work with you to find an animal whose temperament and energy level best fit your lifestyle.
Transition Support: Receive post-adoption check-ins, decompression resources, and training tips to ensure a smooth adjustment for both you and your new companion.
Lifelong Support: Once you adopt through Peach State Rescue, you’re part of our family. We’re always here to help if you need guidance or resources.

Eligibility

This program is open to:

All U.S. military veterans, including active duty, retired, and honorably discharged service members.
Applicants must provide a valid form of military identification, such as a DD-214, Veteran ID Card, or Military Service ID at the time of adoption.
