If you have a weekend free, hosting a dog helps us learn about their personality in a home setting, which is invaluable for matching them with the right adopter. Some animals need a little extra care and attention before they’re ready for adoption—and that’s where fosters make all the difference. Newborns often require round-the-clock care, including frequent bottle feedings, help with bathroom needs, warmth, and close monitoring.
